Zingtube – How Can I Fix These Minor Issues

Hey just got the theme today but there are a couple of tweaks and issues I’d like to fix.

1) How Do i change the size of the thumbnail/font sizes for the videos on my homepage? The thumbnails are far too small and I’d like to increase them slightly. I’d also like to show the full text for my videos instead of just cutting them off and increase the font size for the descriptions and everything else (footer/search bar etc)… I can barely read them…

2) I’ve gone to the advertising settings and selected NOT to show any advertising at the moment however there are still sections saying “Go to ZingTube Theme Option -> Advertisings Spots -> “Right Advertising Space on Video page” to change this content.””… i don’t want my visitors to see this useless text…

3) Importing videos with the Xvideos importer causes all imported videos to not align into the video player. I can’t see any of the controls on the video player and the video title/xvideos watermark just seem to be hovering in the middle of the video. How do you fix this?

1. That is the size for 5 videos/line. If make it bigger, it can not enough space.
2. If you uncheck the select box to hide the advertising banner, it will gone.
3. What importer you use? Can you send me the link of that video?

1). I’m happy to reduce that to 4 if this allows bigger pictures. is this something I can test myself, is it in styles.css? If so, which properties to change?

2) I’ve unchecked everything in the advertising section and now there is more text stating what I have previously said. It is not removed regardless if the boxes are checked or not.

3) I’m using the xvideos importer that comes with Zingtube. Visit http://www.asianhoneytube.com and you will see that the video thumbnails do not align to the box and when you click to wach the video, the controls are below the viewing box and “xvideos” watermark and the name of the video are hovering almost in the centre of the video

I’d also like to ask what does the search bar actually search? I’ve tried searching tags and nothing comes up, it seems to only find words that are included in the exact title of the video… can we make it search tags also?

Bump!!

I am getting annoyed with your lack of support replies and the constant problems I’m finding with your theme and plugin (xvid importer). I will be asking for a refund shortly if we can’t sort these issues out. This could be a fantastic theme with some much needed updates, when was the last update and did you listen to your customers?

The more I look at this theme the more it appears an incomplete mess. This theme needs updates badly, you need more customizations, even the simplest of things are missing (font sizes/customization) that are crucial for a site to work properly.

Please reply to my questions above ^^ and tell me how to fix the problems below (images provided)…

Why are there big gaps on my category page? Is it possible to customize these category images?

This is what it looks like when resized for mobile… you can barely see the images and there is no text, how is this useable? This isn’t a responsive design…

As you can see, when importing videos through your xvid importer, none of the images (top line) align to the actual video thumbnail, can we get a fix for this?

Imported videos from Xvid importer position the videos below the viewable area, you can’t see the controls and the xvideo logo is floating halfway down the screen, why?

Please provide support and answer all these questions so we can get these issues fixed asap, i’d like to get my site up and running quickly.

Sorry, but there are some things that we do not have control over. For example the point number four, we can not do anything about it, since it is the way all Xvideos are displayed on sites embedding videos from them. You can use the KenPlayer plugin to entirely remove the ads and logos added by the tubes.
